The Ohio gathering was this past Sabbath. We met at the Pelton’s farm around picnic tables. We shared what we’ve all been doing, the work and the disappointments. We were encouraged by each other and offered encouragement to each other.
It was great seeing and talking to other people who understand the joys and the strain of this relational, interactive, very active way of being in Christian fellowship and outreach.
We learned together, shared ideas, made plans.
And had fun – the talking and sharing was fun, but we also had delicious food and a gorgeous day for an after-lunch walk around the farm.
We hope to all meet again soon, and also pray that there will be even more of us next time.
